CAD Drafters- Part time

We are currently seeking a CAD Drafter who can provide computer aided drafting support on various projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Uses mark-ups as provided by senior engineer/designer to develop design layouts
Reviews drawings and makes changes according to redlines
Transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design & drafting (CADD) into working documents
Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assist in design drafting
Coordinates with various engineering disciplines to develop and correct plan layouts
Modify, create and release drawings and documents for use by structural engineering project teams using CADD systems
Create plans and profiles of utility networks using primarily 2D but 3D experience is required
Partner with all departments to ensure integrity of drawings and that they convey the correct information
Reads and interprets drawings to create legend sheets and large-scale detail sheets
Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, client drawings, or government drawings or specifications to devise project plans and details for delivery of the various clients

Qualifications

Associates or technical degree in engineering drafting/CADD operation or equivalent experience
AutoCAD Certification with minimum 2 years experience
Pass a sample drawing of Autocad with paper size 24inx36in during 60 minutes.
Knowledge of Autodesk BIM (plus)
Revit (plus)

Salary and Hours

Hours- Minimum 20-25 hours/week
Hourly salary will be commensurate with experience

Structural Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

* Responsible for structural analysis, design, detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.

* Coordination of design work with in-house staff as we as other design professionals including drawings and structural engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

* Graduate students with master degrees or Phd. degrees with a concentration in civil/ structural engineering.

* Excellent academic record.

* Experience in AutoCad, Etab, Sap2000

* Pass rate 70% of our tests with 200 questions of structural analysis, loadings and structural designs

* Pass a real sample design including drawings (size 36in x 24in) with Autocad and calculations during 4 hours
