- Create plans and profiles of utility networks, primarily using 2D; 3D experience is also required.

- Work from drawings, sketches, or scanned images, including client and government specifications, to devise project plans and deliverables for various clients.

**Qualifications**

- An associate's or technical degree in engineering drafting/CADD operation or equivalent experience is required.

- AutoCAD Certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting.

- Must pass a sample drawing test of AutoCAD on paper size 24inx36in within 60 minutes.

- Knowledge of Autodesk BIM is a plus, as is familiarity with Revit.

**Salary and Hours**

- Hours: Minimum 20-25 hours/week. 

- Hourly salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications for this position include: * Graduate students pursuing master's or Ph.D. degrees with a focus on civil or structural engineering. * A strong academic record. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, and SAP2000. * A pass rate of at least 70% on our assessments, which consist of 200 questions covering structural analysis, loadings, and structural designs. * Completion of a real sample design that includes drawings (size 36in x 24in) using AutoCAD, along with calculations, completed within a 4-hour timeframe. This position is ideal for graduate students at local universities in Saint Louis, Missouri, including Saint Louis University, the University of Missouri in St. Louis, Washington University in St. Louis, and Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville (SIUE).
